Abstract | The macro-kinetic equation of biodesulfurization(BDS) by Pseudomonas stutzeri UP-1, which degraded dibenzothiophene(DBT) in the route of Kodama, was investigated in this paper.BDS reaction of UP-1 conformed to Michaelis-Menten kinetics equation. The kinetic parameters of degrading DBT by UP-1, vmax and Km, were 84.75 mg/(L•h) and 759.59mg/L. The acquired kinetics equations had higher significance level and the value of the two important parameters was creditable. By the research of the process kinetics for degrading DBT, it was determined that there was no substance inhibition action for the UP-1. Degradation products of UP-1 have anti-competitive inhibition action for the reaction. It should also be noted that the maximum reaction rate (88.5 mmol/(kg DCW•h)) of BDS by UP-1 was faster than those of many reportorial bacteria. |

It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
