Abstract | Coal quality forecast is the core of the coal quality information management system. At present there are lots of graphics based on 3D technology. Because the platform of the coal quality information management system was Eclipse, then the JOGL technology was used for 3D coal quality forecast. The steps of modeling 3D coal quality forecast were presented in the paper: gathering the discrete coal quality forecast information, establishing space coordinates system, utilizing JOGL technology for coal quality forecast space modeling, and smoothing the coal seam by bilinear. Subsequently, the structure of the whole system and the core technologies were introduced, and final system's interfaces were taken on. The results show that the coal quality information management system is widely approved by users, and the 3D coal quality forecast technology improves the objectivity of coal quality forecast. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
