| Abstract | Morgan theoretical formula current in the wire is right under steady state conditions, yet the transmission line load current and the meteorological conditions are always changing in a dynamic, so there is much error between the theoretical values and the actual dynamic measurement value upon the measured wire temperature and meteorological parameters. This article firstly deduce the transmission line carrying capacity formula of Morgan under the dynamic conditions, verifying its correctness via several field trials. And when Current draw large changes in the wire, dynamic fast rise time of the commonly used models wire temperature is longer than 30min, which is much longer than the common allowed overload time. In short, with the application of meteorological parameters of practical engineering and on-line temperature measurement Device, it can effectively improve transmission line capacity. Calculations of the actual case show that most of the overall transportation capacity line can be increased by 10% to 20% or more, which is of great significance for improving the transmission capacity and network incident handling. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
