| Abstract | Reliability, low cost and low power are key issues in automobile electronics. A Micro Controller Unit (MCU) applied in Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is designed and taped out, and it is mainly composed of a special Low Dropout Voltage Linear Buck Regulator (LDO), A/D controller and DW8051. In this paper, the LDO design has been achieved to meet the power supply big variation of automobile, the supply of LDO is at wide range from 2.7 to 5.5V for Supply Voltage Compatibility (SVC) and the output of LDO is at 1.8V which is the DC power supply for control module. Low power is carefully considered in the LDO and control module design. Quiescent current in the LDO is 40µA with assuring the MCU works well at supply voltage 5.5V and load current 20mA by post simulation. The LDO design is proved to be feasible by post simulation, and integrated with 8051 core, etc. The MCU chip is taped out by 0.18µm CMOS process and the area is 3.5×3.5 $mm^{2}.^{1}$ |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
