Abstract	The American Automatic Control Council sponsors five awards. These awards are given to recognize excellence in scientific, technological, or educational contributions to automatic control. Congratulations to this year's five winners: (1) The Richard E. Bellman Control Heritage Award is given to Steven Morse (Citation: For fundamental contributions to linear systems theory, geometric control theory, logic-based and adaptive control, and distributed sensing and control). (2) The John R. Ragazzini Education Award is given to Mathukumalli Vidyasagar (Citation: For outstanding contributions to automatic control education through publication of textbooks and research monographs). (3) The Control Engineering Practice Award is given to Hongtei Eric Tseng (Citation: For original applications of advanced and classical estimation and control theory to automotive industry). (4) The Donald P. Eckman Award is given to Vijay Gupta (Citation: For contributions to theory of estimation and control of networked, cyberphysical systems). (5) The O. Hugo Schuck Best Paper Awards go to Laurent Lessard and Sanjay Lall for "Optimal Controller Synthesis for the Decentralized Two-Player Problem with Output Feedback."
