| Description | There has been a lot of growth, a lot of development, but not, unfortunately, for Tribals. One finds that on all indicators, whether it is poverty or health and nutrition or education, that they have been far behind other groups there are majorly discussed The two issues:- One is that the Government departments, both at the State level and at the Government of India level are very weak and they do not monitor a large number of problems, whether it is land alienation or displacement or lack of rehabilitation or poor governance etc. And that is one of the most important factors that we have to keep in mind that the path of violence which the Naxalites are following, is not the solution. The solution is agitational politics. You come out in the open and tell what you want and what has not been done, and that can be assisted and that can be helped only when you have the relevant data. it also says that The lack of political will, lack of administrative will which is responsible for the state of affairs where a lot of lands has been lost by Tribals. Displacement is another very big issue- onetime compensation is not the answer. We need to rehabilitate them. another discussion on Three purposes of promoting tribal medicine is, Creating a sustainable and empowering healthcare model, Promoting the legitimacy and use of traditional understandings of healthcare, Livelihood benefits to Adiwasi communities which come once the medicinal products that they get from forests and so on can become marketable products. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
