Abstract	To solve the problems of the lack of flexibility and the disjunction to the actual demand of the corporate approval process, a business approval model and a mining algorithm in workflow were proposed in this paper and a reengineering proposal of approval process based on processing mining was described. The approving staff was given the right to change the approval process flexibly. By analyzing the log record, replacing the loop structure in the workflow with virtual nodes and judging the case structure in the workflow by precursor relationship between the nodes, an improved approval process was finally reconstructed. Then, an example of manufacturing process approval was provided to prove its effectiveness and practicality.
