| Abstract | In this work, Non-thermal equilibrium plasma discharge power system using phase-shifted control ZCS PWM full- bridge inverter is proposed, it adopts transformer leakage inductance and primary inductance in series and parasitic capacitance of IGBT to achieve the zero-current switching and solve the current lag problem of IGBT.Using II network matching circuit,power supply will be effectively transmitted to the plasma. It is a efficient low-temperature plasma surface treatment systems suitable for a variety of materials. Practically polyethylene fiber was treated by atmospheric plasma glow discharge(APGD) followed by acrylic acid (AAc) grafting copolymerization. Plasma treated fiber surface characteristics such as wettability, morphological structure ,chemical composition and surface energy change were tested via contact angle measurements, SEM/EDS, ATR-FTIR and NMR. The involved treatment parameters were investigated systematically including gas atmosphere, plasma power, treating time, grafting rate etc. Investigations showed that treated fiber exhibited better hydrophilicity. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
