Abstract	For a new type of switched linear system which is composed of continuous-time and discrete-time subsystems, the dynamic output feedback disturbance attenuation problem is investigated by using quadratic Lyapunov function technique and linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach in this paper. Firstly, for a class of unforced switched linear systems that is composed of continuous-time and discrete-time subsystems, a sufficient condition is derived for stabilization with a prescribed disturbance attenuation level under arbitrary switching based on LMI. Secondly, the dynamic output feedback H-infinity control Problem is discussed for the mentioned above new type switched linear system under arbitrary switching. It is shown that dynamic output feedback controllers designed can stabilize asymptotically such new type switched linear system with an H-infinity norm bound if several LMI conditions are feasible under the associated parameters that are selected in advance. Finally, a numerical example is given to validate our results.
