Abstract	In this work a multi-channel speech enhancement system is proposed for diffuse noise reduction in future binaural hearing aids. The system assumes a near-frontal target and exploits knowledge of the spatial coherence between the measurement signals to compute the noise reductionWiener filter gains without the need for external voice-activity detection or noise estimation. The left and right channel gains are combined to produce a system with a binaural output that preserves interaural time and level differences. Experiments with speech and noise signals measured using hearing aids in real reverberant environments demonstrate the noise reduction and intelligibility preservation performance of the proposed system.
