NDLI: Publications [special issues based on this conference content]

Abstract	All abstracts appear in this Conference Record - Abstract book. In addition, two Special Issues of the IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science are planned drawing upon papers presented at ICOPS 2004. The first of these is the Special Issue of Plenary and Invited Papers from COPS 2004, scheduled to be published in February 2005. Guest Editors for this Special Issue will be Dr. Carl Ekdahl of Los Alamos National Laboratory and Professor Patrick Pedrow of Washington State University. Plenary and Invited Paper authors are strongly encouraged to submit their manuscripts to this Special Issue. Submission and review will be done using IEEE's web-based system, Manuscript Central (http://tps-ieee.manuscriptcentral.com). The electronic submission deadline is July 15, 2004. The second will be entitled Special Issue of Selected Contributed Oral Papers from ICOPS2004 and is scheduled for publication in April 2005. This Special Issue hopes to begin a tradition following the first successful issue from ICOPS 2003. Guest Editors for this Special Issue are to be determined. The Special Issue Paper selection will be by nomination of ICOPS 2004's Technical Area Coordinators, Session Organizers, and Session Chairpersons. For this issue, authors of papers nominated for consideration will be informed within two weeks following the conclusion of COPS 2004. The submission deadline for this Special Issue will be August 31, 2004.
