| Abstract | The Song hua River Highway Bridge is located in the northeast cold areas, which is affected by the freeze-thaw cycles vulnerably. Both of the indoor rapid freeze-thaw experiment and outdoor natural exposure experiment were taken for the main concrete components of the bridge. Through experiment, The freeze-thaw damage law for concrete was mastered. Take the loss ratio of concrete dynamic modulus of elasticity as the measure for extent of freeze-thaw damage. The freeze-thaw damage extent of concrete exposed to natural environmental was converted into rapid freeze-thaw cycles, then the freeze-thaw durability life for the main concrete components of the bridge were calculated. This prediction method combines the accuracy of indoor experiment and rapidity of outdoor experiment predictions accurately reflect the actual situation of the project |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
