Abstract	The Song hua River Highway Bridge is located in the northeast cold areas, which is affected by the freeze-thaw cycles vulnerably. Both of the indoor rapid freeze-thaw experiment and outdoor natural exposure experiment were taken for the main concrete components of the bridge. Through experiment, The freeze-thaw damage law for concrete was mastered. Take the loss ratio of concrete dynamic modulus of elasticity as the measure for extent of freeze-thaw damage. The freeze-thaw damage extent of concrete exposed to natural environmental was converted into rapid freeze-thaw cycles, then the freeze-thaw durability life for the main concrete components of the bridge were calculated. This prediction method combines the accuracy of indoor experiment and rapidity of outdoor experiment predictions accurately reflect the actual situation of the project
