NDLI: The Role and Duty of Survey Center in Large Bridge Construction

Abstract	Large bridge construction is a system engineering, survey engineering is an important component. The different survey contents contain in every stage of large bridge construction, for example, foundation of control datum, construction survey, quality test, deformation monitoring and so on. A large number of survey design, field work, data processing, result analysis are contained too, a little mistake may exert a greet influence on bridge construction. Choosing higher survey intelligence unit and better professional personnel to form a management organization of survey center on behalf of bridge construction management department, exercising duty independently, such as survey management, supervision, adjustment, examination, analysis and control, the bridge construction smoothly can be ensured. In the construction of Nanjing second Yangtze river bridge and RunYang bridge as well as SuTong bridge, the survey center takes on large survey management work for bridge construction management department and solved some crucial survey problem, it has important role in the large bridge construction.
