| Abstract | Reading is an essential tool for the personal development of the student since it increases the autonomy and capacity of critical reflection and comprehension. However, we currently are in a world dominated by the image that literature has a secondary role in the cultural habits. The diversity of amusements that young people nowadays have implies that the majority of students in Secondary and High School doesn't have the capacity to read, specially literaty texts belonging to classic books. In this work, I have analyzed the different didactic models and I have investigated the meaning of the literary competence, in the legal educative context, and in the new methological approaches with the finality to draw a didactic proposal to encourage the reading habits to the students in the third course of Obligatory Secondary School, through the cooperative work and literary conversations. This proposal includes a planification and organization of spaces and times devoted to read classic works. I have presented innovative and attractive activities for the students, in order to encourage learning and communicative abilities (listening, speaking, talking, reading and writing), and to promote the motivation until a comprehensive and significant reading. The conclusions reached in this intervention proposal result in an improvement the reading habits to the students, doubtlessly necessary to express themselves adequately and to acquire a correct literary competence. |
