| Abstract | The present work shows the results of a situational diagnosis made in the Faculty of Psychology of the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosi (UASLP) with management staff, teachers and students of the Psychology Degree Program. The diagnosis was applied with a mixed methodology involving statistical and qualitative procedures, based on participatory action research. Techniques used were document consultation, participant observation, semi-structured interviews with key subjects and flexible questionnaires; information was recorded in instruments such as the field diary. The purpose of the diagnosis was to design and application of an intervention plan that stated that peer tutoring is a modality that favors development and comprehensive university training. The diagnosis was made in three phases: analysis, exploration and deepening. The results show that the proposal of peer tutoring and its tools (such as voluntary participation and collaboration of all those involved in the design, implementation and evaluation phases) is viable as a support strategy to complement the guidance and tutoring services offered to students from the Department of Tutoring of the Faculty of Psychology. |
