| Abstract | The 2007 edition of the ACM/IEEE International Symposium on Low Power Electronics and Design (ISLPED) welcomes you to Portland, Oregon also known as "The City of Roses" in the beautiful Pacific Northwest region of the USA. On par with this great location, a strong and diverse technical program features three invited talks from leaders in the field, a special session and embedded tutorials. On the first day, Robert Chau, Senior Fellow, Intel Corporation, will deliver the keynote on nanotechnology for low-power and high-speed nanoelectronics applications. The afternoon session on Monday will feature an invited special session on the future of on-chip interconnection architectures with presentations from Shekhar Borkar, Fellow, Intel Corporation and Bill Dally, Stanford University. The first plenary talk on Tuesday will feature David Patterson from UC Berkeley. His talk will address the parallel computing landscape from the perspective of ongoing research efforts at Berkeley. The second plenary talk on Wednesday will be delivered by Luiz Barroso, Distinguished Engineer, Google, on power consumption issues in server machines. Out of 192 submissions received from 14 countries, 74 strong technical papers were accepted for presentation in paper or poster sessions, yielding an acceptance rate of 30% for regular and short papers (57 papers), or 39% including 17 posters. Topics range from low power technology, circuits, and memory; low voltage analog and RF design; power aware design and tools; power efficient architecture techniques; and system and application level power optimization. The program is organized in twelve technical sessions featuring long (30 min) and short (20 min) paper presentations, as well as one interactive poster session that will provide an additional venue for authors and symposium attendees to interact in an informal setting. Following the tradition of ISLPED, this year's event also includes exhibits featuring tools and methodologies from leading vendors of low power or power-aware design tools. The program also includes an industry session that will highlight contributions showcased by companies participating in the ISLPED exhibits. Winning entries to the annual Low Power Design Contest will also be featured in a separate technical session. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.

NDLI is a conglomeration of freely available or institutionally contributed or donated or publisher managed contents. Almost all these contents are hosted and accessed from respective sources. The responsibility for authenticity, relevance, completeness, accuracy, reliability and suitability of these contents rests with the respective organization and NDLI has no responsibility or liability for these. Every effort is made to keep the NDLI portal up and running smoothly unless there are some unavoidable technical issues.
Ministry of Education, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT), has sponsored and funded the National Digital Library of India (NDLI) project.
