| Abstract | In this Master's Thesis aims at doing a diagnosis of the current situation of the Finance Department of the Municipal Administration of La Union Valle in Colombia, in order to implement a quality management system based on ISO 9000: 1000: 2009 NTCGP 2008. To increase the resources of the municipality, given its importance as a territorial entity in which the payment of taxes by citizens such as property taxes and additional taxes, trade and industry and gasoline surcharge is required, is the first objective of the implementation of a qualility management system. On the other hand, an increase of own resources thanks to an adequate fiscal management within the municipality will permit a lower dependence of the domestic transfers with a better position throughout the rating of the control entities and planning. , a committee made up with the Mayor and four City Council office secretaries of the municipality has been named with the purpose of doing the diagnosis that allows to carry out the implementation of the quality management system . After running the stage of diagnosis the needs of resources, the potential limitations and risks, the state of knowledge as well as the willingness of all the agents involved, will be determined to undertake to the process of implementing the system of quality management. |
