| Abstract | OZET: Bu cal›flman›n amac›, matematik o¤retmen adaylar›- n›n matematik o¤retiminde dile iliflkin gorufllerini belirlemek- tir. Matematik o¤retmen adaylar› ile yar› yap›land›r›lm›fl go- ruflmeler yap›lm›flt›r. Goruflmelerde matematik o¤retiminde dil konusunun ceflitli boyutlar› irdelenmifltir. Bu cal›flman›n sonuclar›na gore, matematik o¤retiminde yazma ve okuma et- kinliklerine yer verilmesi gereklilii ortaya konmufltur. Anahtar Sozcukler: matematik o¤retimi ve dil, matema- tik o¤retmen adaylar› ABSTRACT: The purpose of this study is to investigate opinions of prospective mathematics teachers about language in mathematics teaching. Semi-structured inteviews were con- ducted with prospective mathematics teachers. Various dimen- sions of language in mathematics teaching were analayzed through the inteview.
