| Abstract | OZET: Bu cal›flman›n amac› o¤retmen adaylar›n›n, Milli Eitim Bakanl›¤›n›n (MEB) o¤retmenlerde arad›klar› yeterliliklere ne olcude sahip olduklar›n› belirlemek ve bu konuyla ilgili kurumlara geribildirim salamakt›r. Bu amacla Bilgisayar ve O¤retim Teknolojileri Eitimi (BOTE) Bolumu o¤rencilerinin MEB'nca belirlenen o¤retmen yeterlilikleri konusundaki deerlendirmelerini elde etmeye yonelik betimsel bir cal›flma gerceklefltirilmifltir. Araflt›rman›n evreni Hacettepe Universitesi Eitim Fakultesi, BOTE bolumunun son s›n›f o¤rencilerinden oluflmaktad›r. Araflt›rmada veri toplama arac› olarak Mahirolu (2004) taraf›ndan gelifltirilen ve guvenilirlik katsay›s› 0.98 olan 4 dereceli Likert tipi bir olcek kullan›lm›flt›r. Olcekte o¤rencilerden, olcekteki her bir yeterlilik konusunda kendilerini yeterli bulma duzeylerini "Zay›f, Orta, ‹yi veya Mukemmel" fleklinde derecelendirmeleri istenmifltir. Bulgulara gore o¤renciler kendilerini yeterliliklerin onemli bir k›sm›nda orta ve iyi derecede deerlendirmektedirler. Zay›f dere- cesinin yeterliliklerin hemen hemen yar›s›nda hicbir adayca iflaretlenmemifl olmas› hem dikkat cekici hem de bolumlerinde kendiler- ine verilen eitim ac›s›nda olumlu bir gostergedir. Adaylar›n kendi deerlendirmelerine "cinsiyet, mezun olunan lise turu ve okul- daki baflar› durumlar›" ac›lar›ndan bak›ld›¤›nda anlaml› bir fark gozlenmemifltir. Anahtar sozcukler: O¤retmen yetifltirme, o¤retmen yeterlilikleri, MEB ABSTRACT: This study aimed at investigating the extent to which teacher candidates believe they possess the teacher compe- tencies specified by the Ministry of Education. The study was conducted with senior year students at the Computer Education and Instructional Technology (CEIT) department at Hacettepe University. The data were collected through an instrument developed by Mahirolu (2004). The scale used was a 4 point Likert type scale with a 0.98 reliability coefficient. The students were asked to eval- uate their own competencies with reference to the given items in the instrument using a scale ranging from "poor" to "excellent". The findings indicate that in most of the competency areas, students find themselves "average" or "good". It was a positive finding that in at least half of the items, "poor" was not selected by any of the participants. The participants' evaluation of their competencies do not show any differences based on gender, the high school type graduated, or GPA. |
