| Abstract | The final Master's degree current work has as main objective to design an intervention proposal for the domain learning of cartography in young people of 10th year in the EGB Particular Education Unit "Madre Laura", in Santo Domingo de los Tsachilas, focused on providing a serie of activities so teachers can apply in their classes, in this way it helps to the learning of the spatial location within the cartography in a significantly way , so that this group of educational need does not have this didactic resource. The research is supported on issues of: Visual Disability, Basic General Education in Ecuador, Importance of teaching resources, Development of skills, Physical aspects involved in braille reading, Intervention Proposal, Teaching and Learning Methods. In addition, this work responds to a qualitative approach, on one hand it gives a description of the reality of the teacher in the use of cartography and in the students through an interview. It has a non-experimental design, because it is observed the facts as they are, without manipulations. As main conclusion it was determined that an intervention proposal for the teachers is a fundamental tool in the teaching-learning process, since they are given guidelines to be able to work with children, in a methodological and appropriate way for the disability. Besides it is given a special focus on the development of cognitive skills and spatial location, allowing an integral and interdisciplinary development of a multicultural society that works an important role in our environment. |
