| Description | Journal: Journal of Physics F: Metal Physics The electric field gradients produced in grain oriented specimens of silicon-iron subject to trigonal and tetragonal distortions have been measured. It is found that the EFG produced by unit extension is the same in both cases to within 10% in contrast to point charge models which predict a change of sign. |
