| Description | Journal: Journal of Physics F: Metal Physics Mossbauer conversion electron spectroscopy is used to analyse the phases present in silver-iron alloys produced by$ ^{57}$Fe implantation at doses between $1*10^{15}$ and $5*10^{16}$ ions $cm^{-2}$. An appreciable fraction of the iron atoms on substitutional sites is observed as well as superparamagnetic alpha iron precipitates. The behaviour of these phases as a function of annealing temperature is discussed. |
