Bilateral collaborative operation optimisation model in integrated multi-energy system

Abstract	Various forms of energy access to the integrated multi-energy system (IMES) results in more devices involved in the system and make the interaction of different forms of energy more sophisticated; it also poses challenges to the system operation optimisation. This study proposes the collaborative operation optimisation model of the bilateral cooperation of system and users in the IMES built by IMES operator. The IMES operator adopts the one-day ahead optimisation according to time-of-use price, liquefied natural gas price and users’ energy demand curve. The comprehensive cost is reduced mutually by system devices outputs adjustment along with the user's side participation in demand response regulation. In system side, on the basis of optimising the output of the device in energy hub, this study adjusts the allocation factor of energy conversion devices in energy converter to match energy demand of users. On the user's side, this study fully excavates multi-energy collaborative features of IMES, uses alternative load model to reduce the optimisation regulation requirements for cutting and shifting of users side load. Finally, the impact of collaborative operation optimisation method is verified by an example and the results show that the internal devices run more efficiently on this method and the operating costs of the operator are reduced effectively.
