| Abstract | The specimen used by this paper is collected by track geometry inspection car from Bögl slab ballast less track of Beijing-Tianjin intercity high speed railway, and wavelet transform is used to analyze the track profile irregularity of railway on bridge. The different periodic components, locations and reasons in track irregularity can be identified accurately by using wavelet transform and power spectrum density (PSD) analysis. The results show that the main wavelengths of track profile irregularity of Beijing-Tianjin intercity high speed railway on bridge include 70~100 m, 50 m, 31~33 m, 11~13 m, 6~7 m, 3 m and 1.6 m. The reasons of track profile irregularity include track adjustment error, bridge creep, slab installation error, rail manufacturing error, and welded joint error and so on. The wavelet analysis results can be used to appraise railway track construction quality accurately and to guide railway track maintenance. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
