Abstract	A cell fusion device is designed and fabricated in order to electrofuse two cells between electrodes. Dielectrophoretic force is used to attract each cell and make a pearl chain of two cells. The cells are fed from two anisotropically etched cavities of a silicon substrate. This method is helpful to integrate other devices: micro pump, valves and selectors. Also two kinds of the electrode array are fabricated and tested the: feasibility of the proposed device. The attraction of two radish cells on the electrodes of the electrode array is observed when AC voltage(1 MHz, V/sub p-p/ =8V) is applied to the electrodes.
