Abstract	Dye - sensitized solar cell (DSSC) is a new type of solar cell used to convert solar energy into electricity based on the sensitization of wide bandgap semiconductors and dyes [1]. Previous study reported that the absorption spectrum of dye mounted on the surface of TiO2, amount of dye used in electrodes and thickness of titanium dioxide (TiO2) film layer are some of the important parameters that determining the efficiency of the DSSC [2,3]. Basically the increase in TiO2 film thickness leads to the enhancement of charge recombination between the injected electrons into TiO2 conduction band and oxidized dye molecule. This is due to the low electron drift mobility in the TiO2 film [3].
