| Abstract | Applications of switching-power-electronics systems (SPES) have grown leaps and bounds over the last several decades encompassing traditional areas such as telecommunication, motor drives, space, aerospace to more recent areas of smart grid, microgrid, electrical vehicles for automotive, naval, and aerospace applications [1]–[3]. Depending on the nature of the applications, the SPES topologies can vary and so can the nature of the loads (e.g. passive, nonlinear, switching, pulsating, dynamic, interactive) [4]. Such wide variations in SPES application domains and operating conditions have brought out the need for a more unified analysis approach and one that can address wide operating conditions rather being focused primarily on conventional small-signal variations and also does predictions without excessive simulations. The latter is especially difficult for nonlinear and interconnected and network problems [5]. In this paper an overview of wide-application results based on a new switching-sequence-based analysis and control approaches [6] have been provided along with an overview of the theory. Additional references of the author have been provided for the reader to review more comprehensive details of the new approaches and mechanisms for control ad stability applications. The results demonstrate the wide applicability of the new approaches and prediction outcomes that go beyond several existing approaches [7]–[10]. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
