Abstract	Vibrator is a large of specialized equipment in seismic explorations. The quality of Seismic data depends mainly on the consistency of waveform to the force signal coupled into the ground and the scan drive signal. The principle of an electric - hydraulic servo system is studied in this paper. State equations of the open-loop system are deduced by its equation of motion. The model lays the foundation for further study of control methods and the development of an electronic control box made in China. PLL control method was compared with adaptive control by the test. The result shows that the adaptive control method is better than PPL's phase tracking.
