| Abstract | We welcome you to the 35th SIGUCCS 2007 Fall Conference in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Now, more than any time in the past, this year of "Inspiring Magical Outcomes" has transformed our approach to teaching and learning. Even as 2007 brought an end to epic storybook enchantments for Harry Potter enthusiasts, this same year has conjured up authentic IT wizardry in our real-world institutions of her education. We are watching the illusory distinction between the physical classroom and the rest of the world disappear before our eyes. This transfiguration is manifested in many forms: ubiquitous communications gizmos are concealed in every pocket; dynamic Web content is replacing static Web pages; podcasting technology is available to everyone; blogs now shape the news. Since YouTube was acquired by Google less than one year ago, that raucous rendezvous of the masses is becoming the premier source of information for the young and (increasingly) the not-so-young. Take heed; it's not just smoke and mirrors. In this transformative chaos, we must rise to the new challenges and opportunities. You will hear this message through our keynote speakers, our workshop facilitators, and our technical session presenters. SIGUCCS conference participants are all IT professionals; therefore, whether you are responsible for help desk management, training, educational application development, lab management, or myriad other aspects of educational computing support, there will be something for you at this year's conference. Our presenters are among the best of the professionals in our field; their accepted papers went through a rigorous reviewing process. Each manuscript was reviewed by at least two program committee members, and was then professionally prepared for the proceedings. Please take time to read these papers. We are proud to say that these documents go into the archives of the ACM Digital Library. As such, our accepted authors will find themselves listed among the best professors, scientists, and researchers in the field of computing. It is an honor to be represented among them. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.

NDLI is a conglomeration of freely available or institutionally contributed or donated or publisher managed contents. Almost all these contents are hosted and accessed from respective sources. The responsibility for authenticity, relevance, completeness, accuracy, reliability and suitability of these contents rests with the respective organization and NDLI has no responsibility or liability for these. Every effort is made to keep the NDLI portal up and running smoothly unless there are some unavoidable technical issues.
