Abstract	Have you ever had a computer project and didn't think you had enough staff to implement on time? Ever tried to get IT staff from different campuses or departments to work together? Ever tried to find innovative ways to provide training opportunities for the IT staff? Pima Community College developed a couple of different plans to address the needs of the institution and offer training opportunities to IT technicians and specialists. At any one time, one or more campuses may be have a staff vacancy making it difficult or impossible to meet the demands of supporting computers, printers, projectors and all of those other pieces of equipment in classrooms, labs and offices. One location may struggle to configure and install new computer systems in a timely manner, while another has staff to deploy new systems as they are needed. We needed to find a way to encourage collaboration among campus IT staff to help their peers when these issues take place. We also needed a method to build current skill levels, which were not consistent across the district. This presentation will demonstrate a couple of different methods we used at Pima Community College to provide cross-training opportunities to staff from different campuses and departments. These activities helped build relationships among the staff and provided extra hands to help departments and campuses manage technology at their respective locations.
