| Description | Tribal research center conducted advisory board meeting for the discussion about the administration reports, review of research and training, and preparation for tribal development issues. In the meeting there are nine agendas were discussed. The first agenda is delineating the presentation of administration report 1975-1982 and one of the salient features of the administration report is mentioned that the Institute has been strengthened from time to time to meet the changing needs of Government administration especially in the field of planning. The second agenda talks about the how the Institute, Hyderabad has been effectively contributing to the plans formulations besides undertaken research projects and evaluation studies. Agenda three reveals that the research projects for the year 1984-85. It is proposed to take up 19 research projects during this time. Agenda four discussed about the training programme for the year 1984-85. Agenda five delineates the research projects for VII Five Year Plan. During VII Plan period, top priority is given to Development Research and Evaluation studies besides continuing basic studies. Agenda six reveals that the enhancement of Fellowship amount to Research Fellows. The Research Fellows recruited by TCR&TI are being paid an honorarium of Rs. 500/- per mpnth and Rs. 50/- per month towards incidental charges. Agenda seven describes that the preparation of Tribal Development Atlas in collaboration with CESS. Agenda eight discussions about the Construction of Tribal Cultural Research and Training Institute Buildings. The agenda nine encompasses on Printing of Institute's Reports in Cooperative Press or Private presses. The Director, Tribal Welfare submitted to Government in Social Welfare a list of publications numbering about 40 under various categories with all details which require immediate printing. These proposals were submitted to Government keeping in view of the budget provisions and the very intention of the proposals was to get the printing works done in time and circulate them. National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
