Penetapan Kadar Pirazinamida Dengan Metode Spektrofotometri Ultraviolet dalam Sediaan Tablet

Abstract	Pirazinamida is a synthetic antituberculosis drug and peroral use. Pirazinamida used together with isoniazid and rifampin. Pirazinamida is strong bactericidal against actively dividing organisms. Pirazinamida be hydrolyzed enzymatically into pirazinoat acid which is the active form of pirazinamida. The purpose of this study was to determine the levels pirazinamida in tablet dosage with ultraviolet spectrophotometric method. This method is relatively cheap and easy in implementation, but it gives results with good accuracy and precision. The method used in this study namely ultraviolet spectrophotometry in HCl 0,1N at a wavelength of 268 nm. The results were obtained levels pirazinamida generic tablets (Indofarma) was 100.02% ± 0.58, and tablet the name of brand Sanazet ® tablets (Sanbe) of 98.75% ± 2.13, Siranamid ® (Mersi) was 97.98 % ± 2.34,TB Zet ® (Meprofarm) was 98.74% ± 1.13, Pezeta Ciba ® (Sandoz) was 98.67% ± 1.39. This method meets the requirements validation test with the percent recovery of 99.20% and relative standard deviation (RSD) 1.07%, limit of detection (LOD), 0.2088 μg/ml and limit of quantitation (LOQ), 0.6962 μg/ml. The results showed levels of pirazinamide in tablet dosage generic and trade name meets the requirements of tablets according to the Indonesian Pharmacopoeia IV Edition 1995 is not less than 93.0% and not more than 107.0% of the total listed on the label.
