| Abstract | RESUMO Este estudo refere-se a apresentacao dos resultados definitivos de uma investigacao desenvolvida no âmbito de uma Dissertacao de mestrado centrada no estudo do cenario de evasao e eficiencia dos cursos tecnicos subsequentes em Eventos, Informatica e Servicos Publicos do Campus Brasilia do Instituto Federal de Educacao, Ciencia e Tecnologia de Brasilia – IFB, com destaque para os possiveis fatores que levam os estudantes a evasao escolar. Metodologicamente, foi realizada uma revisao bibliografica do tema no contexto da educacao profissional; Paralelamente, foi feito um levantamento de dados por meio do Sistema Nacional de Informacoes da Educacao (SISTEC) e por meio do Registro Academico do Campus Brasilia; posteriormente, procedemos a tabulacao dos mesmos de forma a tracar o panorama dos cursos para posteriormente procedermos a aplicacao de uma metodologia mista com a aplicacao de questionarios e entrevistas a evadidos e concluintes dos cursos estudados. Constatou-se que a capacidade de resiliencia e de permanencia dos estudantes, construida por meio de suportes sociais e pedagogicos no ambiente escolar e familiar, sao fatores de forte influencia para a permanencia do estudante e que fatores relacionados a questoes socioeconomicas, desde logo, a necessidade de trabalhar em detrimento de estudar influencia significativamente na alta taxa de evasao/abandono escolar. Percebe-se que e necessaria a adocao de uma nova postura de pesquisadores, educadores, gestores e comunidade em geral que considere a sua corresponsabilidade nos resultados escolares, e na adocao de uma postura ativa e humana de enfrentamento do problema de forma global. ABSTRACT This study refers to the presentation of the definitive results of a research carried out within the framework of a Master's Dissertation focused on the study of the scenario of evasion and efficiency of the subsequent technical courses in Events, Informatics and Public Services of the Brasilia Campus of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Brasilia - IFB, highlighting the possible factors that lead students to school dropout. Methodologically, a bibliographical review of the theme was carried out in the context of professional education; At the same time, a data collection was done through the National Information System of Education (SISTEC) and through the Academic Registry of Campus Brasilia; Later, we tabulated them in order to draw the panorama of the courses so that we could proceed with the application of a mixed methodology with the application of questionnaires and interviews with those who had been evaded and concluded the courses studied. It was verified that the resilience and permanence capacity of the students, built through social and pedagogical supports in the school and family environment, are factors of strong influence for the permanence of the student and that factors related to socioeconomic issues like the need for Working at the expense of studying significantly influence the high rate of dropout. It is perceived that it is necessary to adopt a new posture of researchers, educators, managers and the community in general that considers their co-responsibility in school results, and in adopting an active and human posture to face the problem in a global way. |
