| Abstract | This initiative is part of two areas of work that we consider essential: Inclusive Multicultural Education and Media Education. The former is facilitating the positive valuation of cultural diversity, considered as a system of values and beliefs. As for the latter, the media is growing at a rapid pace and having an increasing impact on our lives, and formal education should begin to undertake critical work in this respect. For these reasons, this teaching proposal for secondary school students aims to work on multicultural education based on an analysis of the media’s discourse on the construction of immigration. |
