| Abstract | The authors developed and keep on improving a training course about the use of Moodle, an online learning management system and collaborative work environment. Due to the growth in the use of this tool in Portugal and of the interest of teachers and trainers, the scenario was considered as adequate to the offer of a short course (2 weeks, 21 hours of work) that used Moodle in a distance education model. The interaction, resources made available and activities that characterized the course occured in both a asynchronous and synchronous way, using Moodle for the first and the VoIP Skype software for the second.The feedback given by the course participants that concluded the course suggests that the options taken on the course duration, its structure, resources and activities, associated with a model of synchronous tutor support, created a positive climate among tutors and trainees, favoring an informal learning environment and motivating both. However, aspects such as assessment, some of the resources, time required, promotion of interactions and support in the main course task should be taken in account, improving the efficiency and the learning that takes place in the course. Future editions will have these in consideration, incorporating the experience of the authors and the feedback of the participants. Um curso em Moodle sobre Moodle |
