| Abstract | This research questions the positivation and application of Conventions no. 138 and 192 of the ILO in the Brazilian legal system, resulting in the reduction of child labor. The research was divided into 3 sections, initially addressing the International Organization, then its norms, and finally how they apply in Brazil. Regarding the methodology, the inductive method was used, through the collection of theoretical and bibliographic reference data. Regarding the final considerations, it was understood that the norms created by the ILO brought a relevant influence on domestic law, reducing, in the practical field, the incidence of child labor. |
