Abstract	This research aims to identify the impact of the recommendations from the Inter-American Commission of Human Rights (IACHR) of The Organization of American States (OAS) to the promotion of Human Rights in Brazil. Therefore, the research was carried out in the light of deductive method, with a descriptive level of depth, with a qualitative approach, and, a bibliographic and documental procedure for data collection. Throughout the research, physical and digital literature were utilized, and also , among others, oficial documents from the OAS website. The concept of Human Rights, the international protection historical evolution of Human Rights, specially in America, the presentation Inter-American human rights system and how the IACHR works, a survey of cases and recommendations from IACHR and their impact at the promotion of Human Rights in Brazil. The results were categorized from 18 recommendation cases and 2 (two) friendly settlements cases reached between Brazil and IACHR. It was verified that if the recommendations are not fully accomplished, the IACHR reiterates and continue the process of following up with the procedures taken by Brazil, until they are fully accomplished. However, the research showed that none of the cases showed, the recommendation were fully accomplished by the Brazilian state. Thus, this study concludes that even though that recommendations are minimally accomplished, they cause a relevant impact on a national level, prompting a significant change at the Human Rights promotion.
