| Abstract | The purpose of this research is to understand how first grade teachers develop the processes of teaching literacy using the mixed method as a reference. This study was undertaken from the socio-critical paradigm with a qualitative approach, and the tudy method used was action research. The results showed that teachers use a traditional methodology for the teaching of literacy, they do not know the epistemological aspect of the method they claim to be applying for the teaching of literacy, and finally they do not have clarity between what is a method, a technique, a strategy and a pedagogical action. To overcome these difficulties, training workshops were held and a didactic strategy for the teaching of reading and writing was built collectively, using the mixed method as a reference. |
