| Abstract | This article illustrates the study of a teacher of English of seventh-grade at a public school in Bogotá. Through a case study, we investigated the activities developed in his classes to achieve an effective learning of this language, characterizing his teaching practice. Also, several aspects were defined in the work of the teacher considering his visions of learning, language and classroom interpreted by Ian Tudor (2001), who inquired in the complexity of the educational process, and through this he described his own vision in the teaching of English As a foreign Ejercicio Docente en la Enseñanza del Inglés 2 language based on personal experience and professional training. Throughout the research, the teacher was identified as a guiding and creative axis that focuses his experience on activities that can improve the conditions of the environment around him. Likewise, difficulties were encountered that manifested themselves and influenced the teacher's context, such as the lack of interest on the part of the students, the indiscipline presented in the classroom and the insufficient time to carry out the syllabus, which affect directly the dynamics within the classroom. |
