| Abstract | This research aims to understand the configuration of political subjectivity in the children and young people of the Gestores de Paz Movement in Potosi neighborhood of South of Bogota. It is developed through a collaborative ethnography approach, in which children and youth actively participated in the methodological development of the research. We found that children have organized themselves to generate transformative actions to face problems of their neighborhood, through relationships of solidarity and service. They have also generated networks with other organizations in Ciudad Bolivar that have allowed them to gain autonomy and influence in their territory. On the other hand, the research underline that Gestores de Paz Movement is an educational experience for children that challenges traditional relationships between adults and children, show the many capacities and resources children and youth have and how the working experience with the community contribute to their political formation. |
