| Abstract | This paper deals with consumer protection in e-commerce relationships. This being a course conclusion work presented as a requirement for obtaining the bachelor's degree in law from the University Center of Brasilia. Aimed at analyzing the effectiveness of current consumerist legislation regarding the offering of trust and security to consumers who perform transactions over the internet and thus present the possible need for the adoption of laws that can serve as a complement to the achievement of this goal. Addressing, for this purpose, the discipline that the Consumer Protection Code indicates the generally contracts, its applications in ecommerce and shortcomings as the specificity of this new business arrangement. Analyzing then the Bill No. 281 / 2012 in order to specify the gaps left by the current legislation regarding e-commerce and verify the eventual resolution of these gaps to achieve full consumer protection in the virtual environment. If talks on Decree No. 7,962 / 2013 to have regulatory content of the Consumer Protection Code to the reality of e-commerce and treat the limits of its regulatory powers. And the analysis of the Civil Marco Internet, Law No. 12,965 / 2014, as a new standard for dealing with citizens' rights in the virtual environment. Finally, it was noted the effort to be a normative monitoring the dynamics of the electronic environment in order to realize these goals resulting remedies, every day, in full protection virtual user. |
