| Abstract | El objeto de la presente investigacion se inscribe como un Analisis de Factibilidad de Implementacion de la Modalidad de Educacion Abierta y a Distancia para la Licenciatura en Educacion, mencion Tecnica Industrial en la Universidad de Oriente, Nucleo de Anzoategui, como salida de tercer nivel a los profesionales egresados de Tecnologia en sus dos areas, fundada en una investigacion proyectiva y en diseno de campo, que implico recurrir a un universo de estudio constitutivo de 31 profesores y 32 estudiantes del sexto semestre de la carrera de Tecnologia, quienes respondieron a una entrevista estructurada, que fue previamente validada y sometida a prueba de validez mediante el juicio de expertos y la tecnica del test-retest. Asimismo, el trabajo conto con el apoyo de una copiosa bibliografia que proporciono los elementos epistemologicos que permitieron dilucidar el problema objeto de investigacion. Finalmente, se pudo precisar que el 71,42% de la poblacion entrevistada estimo factible la creacion de una Unidad de Educacion Abierta y a Distancia, para la Licenciatura en Educacion mencion Tecnica Industrial de las areas de Electronica y Fabricacion Mecanica; argumentos que fueron sustentados al ser expuesta su factibilidad; socio-pedagogica, juridica, tecnica, y economico-financiera; lo cual servira para la estructuracion de los elementos constitutivos de una propuesta tomando en consideracion la organizacion de los Centros Locales de la Universidad Nacional Abierta para el diseno de la Unidad en cuestion de segunda fase de la investigacion. ABSTRACT The purpose of this investigation was to do: A feasibility analysis of the Implementation of Open and Distance Learning in the Education with Industrial Technique degree course, at the UDO, Anzoategui, as a third level exit for professionals of technology in its two areas. The study is based on a projective investigation and a field design. The study population consisted of 31 professors and 32 students studying the sixth semester of the above mentioned degree course. All members of the population answered a previously validated structural interview and underwent a reliability test judged by experts and the test-retest method. The study was supported by an extensive literature search, which provided the epistemological elements needed to elucidate the problem. Overall, 71.42% of the interviewees considered that it would be possible to create an Open and Distance Education Unit for the Education with Industrial Technique degree course in the Electronics and Mechanical Manufacturing Areas, an opinion supported by the social, pedagogical, legal, technical, economical and financial feasibility study. This will allow the constitutive elements of the proposal to be structured, taking into consideration the organization of both the local and regional centers of the National Open University in the design of the Unit, in a further phase of the investigation.
