| Abstract | The intention of this article is to share with the academic community an analysis of the preliminary version of the National Curriculum Common Base (BNCC) curriculum component Physical Education, held in February 2016. This analysis was prepared in response to the commission of the Ministry of Education experts requesting critical opinion, to contribute to the delineation of the theoretical assumptions and curricular organization attesting the initial proposal of Physical Education for elementary and high school. This analysis contextualized initially, the historical origin of BNCC amid the evaluation of basic education policies and their possible influences for teacher training. He then presented some questions regarding the structuring of knowledge and objectives formulation in view of the diversity and complexities of school teaching practice in the Brazilian reality. |
