| Abstract | This article presents a four-year research study carried out in state Secondary Education schools in the Region of Murcia, Spain, funded by the Spanish Ministry of Education. In this descriptive, cross-sectional study we intend to learn about the educational benefits of water activities from the point of view of physical education (PE) teachers, and the advantages and shortcomings of these activities as a core element of the subject of PE in Secondary education. We also wish to register the answers given by PE teachers with regard to such innovative contents. In this study 176 PE teachers participated (80% of the population) and two scales (CEFRAA and CAAEE with polycotomic items) were used. |
