Abstract	Ce chapitre aborde le rôle des services publics de l’emploi (SPE) face aux problèmes de santé mentale de certains de leurs usagers. Dans un premier temps, il indique que les SPE n’ont pris conscience que récemment du problème, et il décrit les programmes actifs du marché de l’emploi qui se mettent place progressivement afin d’aider les demandeurs d’emploi atteints de troubles mentaux. Il expose ensuite les mécanismes élaborés par les SPE flamands afin de définir et de prendre en compte les besoins des personnes souffrant de ce type de troubles, ainsi que les programmes axés sur les chômeurs de longue durée qui cumulent plusieurs difficultés, dont une mauvaise santé mentale. Enfin, le chapitre traite brièvement de l’initiative récente des SPE flamands en faveur des bénéficiaires de l’aide sociale et d’allocations d’invalidité.
