Abstract	Ce chapitre s’intéresse au rôle des employeurs, qui sont les mieux placés pour aider les personnes en activité à faire face aux problèmes de santé mentale et à conserver leur emploi. Il décrit en premier lieu le lien entre conditions de travail et mauvaise santé mentale, baisse de la productivité et absences pour maladie, puis examine les stratégies de prévention envisageables face aux défis que pose l’environnement psychosocial au travail. Il se penche enfin sur les responsabilités de l’employeur et sur le rôle de la médecine du travail dans l’ensemble de ce processus.
