| Abstract | Several efforts are being done in order to reduce the impact of conventional rectifiers on the grid in terms of power factor and current harmonics. For this purpose, standard topologies like Boost and Flyback, CUK and Sepic are widely used, they are also gaining attention due to inherent short -circuit protection, step up and step down regulation, reduction of input current ripple by inductor coupling. The operation of CUK converter is quite different from the operation of PWM converters. The principal motivation behind the development of the CUK converter has been their ability to provide unity power factor at constant duty cycle and reduced switching losses. The present work is to design the DC-DC CUK converter and the converter operation is monitored and controlled by using f uzzy logic techniques are implemented in TMS320F2407 DSP controller. The main concept of the project is the output voltage is step down with the help of CUK converter, so the converter is operating in buck mode, which is achieved by reversing the diode direction and the converter is experimentally validate theoretical results of this project provide an improved understanding of the dynamics of the converter beyond the linear characteristics. So the converter operation is analyzed for typical switch -mode power supply and battery charging applications. MATLAB software and TMS320F2407 DSP are used to study the dynamics characteristics and analyze the closed loop performance of this converter with resistive load under supply and load disturbances. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
