Abstract | A dynamical model of weak coupling periodic structure is established by using Lagrange's equation. The Lyapunov exponents of every disordered situation are computed based on the model, and the influence law and change trend of structure dynamic characters are obtained ultimately. Then, the active vibration control of the structures is studied by applying Neural Networks Predictive (NNP) control and Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) control method individually. Simulation results show that small disorder of the structure can induce remarkable localization of vibration mode. While the model existing mismatch induced by disorder, Neural Networks Predictive (NNP) method has perfect performance in vibration control of weak coupling periodic structure, and LQR makes the vibration more aggressively. The disorder must be considered seriously in active vibration control of weak coupling periodic structures. |

It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
