Abstract | In this paper, we proposed a WLAN/WiMax printed antenna executed by using microstrip feeding and matching. This antenna is constructed with a double-sided FR4 substrate with the radiator mounted on one side which contains one circle and one square element, the microstrip line fed on the other side to bring the wideband impedance match on the microstrip line and perform the dual and wide band effect. The frequency bands can meet the applications at 802.11b/g/n/a/p/h, 2.4–2.497GHz (Worldwide), 4.9–5.1GHz (Japan), 5.15–5.35/5.47–5.725/5.725–5.875GHz, 5.86–5.925GHz (America) and the Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) M2300T-01/02 2.3–2.4GHz, M2500T-01 2.496–2.696GHz, M3500T-02/03/05 3.4–3.6GHz, M3500T-01/04 3.4–3.8GHz. In this paper, the evaluation from the simulations and experiments reveals the dual and wide band antenna still have good radiation quality. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
