| Abstract | OSEM is a standard for image reconstruction in positron emission tomography (PET). However, OSEM has not been compared with filtered back projection (FBP) for the quantification of myocardial blood flow (MBF) with $^{13}N-ammonia$ (NH3) and $^{82}Rb$ PET. 12 subjects with <5% likelihood of CAD had rest and stress (dipyridamole) dynamic PET with NH3 and Rb. Arterial blood and myocardial polar-map time activity curves were generated automatically and used with tracer kinetic models for quantification of MBF. A 1-compartment model was used for Rb and a 2-compartment model for NH3 to estimate the regional uptake rate constant $K_{1}.$ Normal population databases were also created for NH3 and Rb using a net retention model. The databases comprised population mean and standard deviation (SD) polar-maps at rest, stress and stress/rest. There were no consistent differences between LV-median $K_{1}$ values generated with OSEM or FBP, although the rest NH3 $K_{1}$ value did decrease by 16% with OSEM (p=0.01). Peak blood values were consistently reduced by 5-10% with OSEM. At rest, the normal population database SD with OSEM was 10% higher for Rb (p=0.02) and 5% higher for NH3 (p=0.02). Conversely, the stress SD was decreased by 15% with OSEM for Rb (p<0.001) and 9% for NH3 (p<0.001). Stress/rest SD also decreased with OSEM by 15% for NH3 (p<0.001), and tended to decrease by 4% for Rb (p=0.12). The measured normal range (population SD) of stress flow and stress/rest reserve appears to be smaller with OSEM vs. FBP, which may be advantageous for the diagnosis of CAD with Rb and NH3 PET |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.

NDLI is a conglomeration of freely available or institutionally contributed or donated or publisher managed contents. Almost all these contents are hosted and accessed from respective sources. The responsibility for authenticity, relevance, completeness, accuracy, reliability and suitability of these contents rests with the respective organization and NDLI has no responsibility or liability for these. Every effort is made to keep the NDLI portal up and running smoothly unless there are some unavoidable technical issues.
Ministry of Education, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT), has sponsored and funded the National Digital Library of India (NDLI) project.
